No warranty of accuracy
We work hard to keep our defaults and formulas current, but we make no warranty — express or implied — that any calculation, default value, rate, tax figure, or data point is accurate, current, or complete. The site is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. You are solely responsible for verifying any number with your lender's Loan Estimate or another qualified professional before making a financial decision.
We are not a lender or broker
HomeAfford is an independent publisher of calculators and educational content. We are not a mortgage lender, mortgage broker, real estate brokerage, tax preparer, or law firm, and we do not originate, fund, or service loans.
Advertising & affiliate links
The site is supported by display advertising and may contain affiliate links to lenders, marketplaces, or other partners. When a link is an affiliate link, it will be clearly labeled. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.
Intellectual property
The HomeAfford name, content, and calculator implementations are owned by HomeAfford. You may share our pages and link to us freely; please don't scrape, repackage, or republish the calculators without written permission.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which HomeAfford operates (jurisdiction placeholder — to be finalized prior to broad distribution), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
